Crystal Palace Justify resignation news Pulis
London – news resignation of Tony Pulis as manager of Crystal Palace was not a figment. Palace declares that Pulis had indeed left the club.
Previously, Pulis reportedly quit because of dispute with Palace boss, Steve Parish. Pulis upset because a number of transfer targets this summer failed to obtain.
Palace was successfully brought Brede Hangeland, Fraizer Campbell, and Martin Kelly last. However, Pulis is still not satisfied with the squad they have.
Gylfi Sigurdsson reportedly wants Pulis (now at Swansea City) and Steven Caulker (Queens Park Rangers). However, limited funds make the Palace could not fulfill that desire.
Pulis resigned after meeting with the Parish at a hotel in London, Thursday (08/14/2014) yesterday. Palace resignation Pulis has confirmed this through his official website.
“Crystal Palace Football Club can confirm that Tony Pulis has left the club by mutual consent,” the statement Palace.
“Keith Millen will handle the team for a while in the Premier League opener against Arsenal on Saturday.”
“The club would like to thank Tony for his efforts with the club last season and wish the best for him in the future.”
Pulis was appointed as manager of Palace in November 2013 after Ian Holloway was sacked. He helped Palace rise and eventually finished 11th Premier League 2013/2014.
