San Sebastian – David Moyes admitted definitely return to England someday. However, before the “return” to the Premier League, he wanted first to enjoy his adventures in Spain.
Moyes coached Real Sociedad since November last. For Moyes, it was the first time he worked outside the UK having previously coached Preston North End, Everton and Manchester United.
In the hands of Moyes, Sociedad had through 26 games and won 9 wins, 10 draws and 7 defeats. La Real currently sits in 12th place of La Liga standings with 38 points.
With its reputation, Moyes is now reportedly being considered by several English clubs. West Ham United and Newcastle United touted keen to repatriate man named David William Moyes it to the Premier League.
Moyes wants just returned to the UK, but not now.
“I’m enjoying going to the different stadiums. I’m enjoying working with different players, trying to learn the language, the culture,” said Moyes told BT Sport.
“So, I can not turn around and say I now miss the Premier League. No,” he added.
“But, of course, it is a place where I do most of my work and I am definitely going back there,” said the Scottish coach.
“At this moment, I really enjoyed my time at La Real. I work here and that’s what I want to do,” added Moyes.
“I came here, chances are right, the time is right, so I want to do. I want to study here and understand Spanish football and the players better,” he said.
