Paris – There is no desire to leave Chelsea’s John Terry this summer. Therefore Terry was hoping the club immediately gave him a new contract.
Terry stay at Stamford Bridge remaining in a few months, after last season he got a one-year contract extension. Chelsea itself does have a policy to give a contract duration of 1-2 season for the senior players.
With little left his contract with Chelsea, Terry’s future may now be speculated and called back 34 years it will take part in Major League Soccer (MLS).
Yet it never occurred to Terry as his priority right now is to stay at Chelsea. For that Terry had asked the club to immediately give him a new contract.
“The club know my position, I was so and hopefully agreement on a new contract will be reached,” said Terry as quoted by Soccernet.
“Indeed, there is no talk at all but we were both respect our position,” he continued.
Terry is a genuine product of the Blues academy which debuted in 1998 with a total of 653 appearances and 59 goals. He also contributed three Premier League titles, one Champions League trophy, the Europa League, and five FA Cups.
