Manchester – Manchester United successfully beat Burnley 3-1 in a match that took place at Old Trafford on Thursday (12/2) pm dawn. Chris Smalling to be a hero ‘Red Devils’ in the game through a pair of goal.
Smalling created both goals in the first half, respectively in the sixth minute and the 45th + 3. Robin van Persie then enhance United’s victory over his penalty goal in the 82nd minute.
Smalling itself was not playing as a starter. He entered in the fifth minute of injury replacing Phil Jones.
In the BBC notes, Smalling scored a goal within 22 seconds after coming on as a substitute. On it was Sammy Ameobi, who scored eight seconds after coming on as a substitute. Ameobi goal came in the match Newcastle vs Tottenham Hotspur some time ago.
With this victory, the United climbed to third place, bypassing Southampton and Arsenal. However, despite their success to achieve positive results, their manager, Louis van Gaal, pleaded not satisfied.
