London – Arsenal almost throw away a two-goal advantage and almost canceled win at home to Crystal Palace. However, the Gunners apparently still shaded by the goddess Fortuna and successfully earned three points.
Hosted Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday (21/02/2015), Arsenal opened the scoring with a penalty Santi Cazorla in the early minutes. They then 2-0 after Olivier Giroud scored a few moments before the break.

After the match, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger getting the question of whether his team is lucky in this game.
“Probably, yes. But, it’s about fighting and playing,” said Wenger as reported by the official club website.
“Crystal Palace is a team that plays with a high intensity, very frontal game, and it is important for us to help it and try to play. We did it very well. However, after winning 2-0 at halftime, we tend to strive to maintain excellence in the second half rather than try to attack and suppress them, “he added.
“We could not score the third goal and when they minimize dropping to 1-2, we were a bit unlucky. In general we fought and it was a very important win for us,” said Wenger.
