SWANSEA – Swansea City midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson, hoping his team can win when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool. Although the new team took in a series of positive results, Sigurdsson judge the game will run hard.
In the previous two games, the Swans to a 1-0 victory over Hull City and Aston Villa. The positive trend is expected to continue in the 19th matchday of the Premier League, Tuesday (12/29/2014) future.
“It would be nice if we could achieve a third win in a row. Liverpool is experiencing a turning point in their season. Seeing their performance in recent years, our trip to Anfield will run quite difficult,” said Sigurdsson as reported by the official website swanseacity.net, Sunday (12.28.2014).
“But we have just won two consecutive wins, of course we know that we have the ability to win at Anfield. Hopefully we are able to maintain this positive performance,” he added.
Swansea now sit in eighth position the 2014-15 Premier League standings with 28 points. Meanwhile, the Reds are one rank below the Swans by 25 points.
