Liverpool – The injury apparently did not want to be separated from Daniel Sturridge. New will play again after a long absence, instead Sturridge back injury during training which kept him out for 2-4 weeks.
Sturridge has missed the last six weeks due to thigh injury he got while playing for the English national team. The injury was later made an appearance in the plagued Liverpool where they have won only once in the Premier when Sturridge was playing.
Week after week passed and healing Sturridge was nearing the final stages. The 25-year-old even had to follow a series of training sessions and can be called to play as Liverpool faced Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.
But like lightning in broad daylight, the day before the game started bad news came to Liverpool when Sturridge having problems in his calf muscle, which required him to rest a month maximum.
As a result new Sturridge will be able to play again around mid-November and missed a number of matches including a duel with Real Madrid in the Champions League, and Chelsea in the league.
“Daniel calf muscle interested. He seems to be absent again for the next 2-4 weeks,” said the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, the Liverpool Echo.
“This is very bad news but we will wait for Daniel’s back. He had worked hard, but we also have other players who like it and we will rely on them. Which is why we strengthen the squad this summer,” said Rodgers.
