Naples – Napoli denied rumors stating that their president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, will sell the club to foreign investors. Kubu Partenopei also denied they were looking for investors for the construction of the stadium.
Napoli sales issues triggered by the departure of De Laurentiis to the United States. De Laurentiis is expected to meet with potential investors who have the potential to buy a majority stake in the club.
However, Napoli have denied the issue and call information without foundation.
“In connection with the alleged negotiations related to the sale of all or part of SSC Napoli to America or Qatar business groups and search partner to finance a new stadium, please note that this information is completely without foundation,” the statement quoted by the Italian Football Napoli.
“Therefore, we firmly denied the existence of any negotiations related to the sale of SSC Napoli, as well as investors search related to the construction of the new stadium.”
