Samaras Anchored at West Brom
West Bromwich – Georgios Samaras back grazing in the Premier League. After a long strengthens Celtic in the Scottish League, the Greek national striker moved to West Bromwich Albion.
Samaras free agent since his contract with Celtic runs out at the end of last season. Therefore, West Brom could sign him without the cost of transfer.
After passing a medical, Samaras signed a two-year contract with West Brom. 29-year-old players will be wearing the costume back numbered 30.
Samaras is the ninth player recruited West Brom in the transfer market this summer. He will compete with Brown Ideye, Saido Berahino, and Victor Anichebe for a place in the front line of the Baggies.
“The people in the club are very good and I feel this is a family club. For me, this was an easy decision to come here,” said Samaras in West Brom’s official website.
“I believe this is a new challenge in my career and I am ready to accept it,” he added.
West Brom are the two Premier League clubs were amplified by Samaras. She had previously been uniformed Manchester City (2006-2008).
“I want to help this team do well in the Premier League. It is the best league in the world and I am very proud to be here, “he said.
“I will try, along with my team mates, for competitive against the best teams and do their best,” said Samaras.
