QPR Borrow Vargas from Napoli
London – Queens Park Rangers back to get new ammunition in the transfer market this summer. They have just announced borrowing Eduardo Vargas to Napoli for a season.
In recent time Vargas did not get a place in Naples. Chile striker was loaned to Gremio round in 2013, then loaned out to Valencia at the beginning of this year.
Vargas defended Chile in the 2014 World Cup and helped his country qualify for the round of 16. He scored one goal against Spain in the group stage.
“Eduardo is a quality player. He was sharp, smart, and very good life while carrying the ball or not,” said the QPR manager, Harry Redknapp, in his club’s official Twitter account.
“He can play as a number nine, he can play behind the cutting edge, he can play wide. He’s versatile,” he added.
At QPR, Vargas will meet compatriot Mauricio Isla. Isla QPR on loan from Serie A club the other, Juventus.
“I came here to play my best and I am very happy to play for QPR,” said Vargas.
“This is a league that is very attractive and very competitive. Lot of players who want to come and play here. I was looking forward to playing,” said the 24-year.
